The open polder landscape to the east of the Reeuwijkse Plassenis one of the most characteristic areas of the Groene Hart. Make sure to put on sturdy walking shoes for your hike! Hoeve Stein nature farm in Reeuwijk is the starting point for organised excursions. Those who prefer to do the walking route individually can leave from the Staatsbosbeheer parking lot at the pumping station on the Twaalfmorgen. The beautiful outlook post is also the ideal spot for a panoramic view of the area. The Oukoopse Molen, a beautiful rock watermill, is an unmissable beacon in the landscape. It is also possible to visit the mill on Saturdays, when the miller is present. The Put van Kruijt shows the landscape, which consists of lakes and narrow strips of peat land. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a lead.
