Is a tiny village. This little hamlet is completely surrounded by greenery, water and trees. You can only get there via narrow country roads, and sometimes you have to wait in a recess for oncoming traffic to pass. Thanks to the space and tranquillity, Reeuwijk-Dorp evokes a sense of the life in the great outdoors. And the bigger cities, as well as everything you could possibly need, are a mere stone’s throw away. Meet up in the Huis van Alles, where volunteers are always standing by with fresh coffee. Both churches (Catholic and Reformed) have active communities. Carnival is inextricably linked to Reeuwijk-Dorp and during this event the village goes by its traditional name of ‘Reedeurp’.
