Veldzichtpad is a lovely long walk through the largest open polder area of the Groene Hart. More than half of the route leads across farmlands. It is therefore advisable to wear a pair of sturdy, waterproof walking shoes. An experience of the tranquillity, space and the beautiful peat meadow landscape is highly recommended. You can walk the route in both directions by simply following the signs. Before you start the walk, make sure to read the instructions on the signboard at the start of the route. Stay at an appropriate distance from all the animals and respect the farmer’s work. Dogs are not allowed on this walk and the trail is closed during the breeding season, from 15 March to 15 June.
