It’s not very hard to guess that the name of this village refers to three bridges. The bridges spanned the Grote or Dubbele Wiericke canals. The village of Driebruggen is the home town of many farmers in this region. You can find beautiful farms here, that date all the way back to the 16th century! You can do your daily shopping at the local butcher and village shop. This is actually a very lively little town. The sports clubs occasionally throw fun parties, as does the music association. Enjoy hiking? If so, you might want to take a hike across the Oukoop polder and discover a really stunning region of the Netherlands. You can easily reach the highway from Driebruggen. It’s a truly unique location. The motto of the Driebruggen residents is ‘just act normally, it’s already crazy enough’. An ‘ordinary’ village with lots of extraordinary spots!
