Lovers of the visual arts will discover various beautiful images in the centre of Bodegraven made by two artists who resided there: Alphons van Leeuwen and Léon Veerman.
Léon Veerman created a series of spherical artworks in his early days as an artist, a number of which can be seen in Kerkstraat and Julianaplantsoen in Bodegraven.
Many works, Alphons van Leeuwen including sculptures, paintings, prints and drawings, are on display in his Atelier Hofstede Leeuwendeel, Zuidzijde 28 in Bodegraven.
